Thankful Thursday

Thursday (6/2): I am thankful for a dear friend who has helped me so much by watching my three oldest children while I paint the day away and then fixing us dinner, too!

Friday (6/3): I am thankful for a day to catch up on a little baking/cooking/cleaning etc. since I have fallen way behind while painting.

Saturday (6/4): I am thankful for a day to work together as a family in the yard/ house and for warm days!

Sunday (6/5): I am thankful for a day of rest, meditation, and worship to remind myself of what is truly important.

Monday (6/6): I am thankful to have an evening spent together as a family, even though Family Home Evening WAS a little crazy. Let's just say Lucy was at the point in tired where she bounces off the walls. I was remembering Elder Bednar's words and that helped.

Tuesday (6/7): I am thankful to have accomplished so much and for a husband who shows his gratitude for my hard work by buying my dinner.

Wednesday (6/8): I am thankful for the opportunity to give back by watching my dear friend's children. And after this day, I definitely appreciate her service to me more.

What have you been painting? Sounds fun! I need to call you one of these days. It has been a little while. Sorry I am such a slacker. :)

Hi, Jen! I am so thankful for this time to really get to know Matthew, Jenny and Lucy- darling children!... (and wish I could get to know Tommy more too, but he is sure a sweet baby and that is plainly evident. :)) I guess I never really took the time or opportunity- and am so glad to now. What fun! I also am so indebted to you and appreciate your time and care with my children. What a dear family and dear friend you are to me also! Going to treasure every minute! :)
Rach, I am painting the bedrooms and bathrooms in our house. I do really need to call you and catch you up on all that is going on.

Caitlin, we had a such a great time last week hanging out with your kids as well. And thank you in advance. :) I really don't know how I would ever get the painting done without your help.
