Ahhh! Here is to catching up after the holidays.

It has been a few weeks at least since I have posted something and the pictures and videos have piled up on me. And the laundry and the house cleaning, etc. So here is to New Year's resolutions and to catching up after the holidays!

Here is our winter wonderland picture that was supposed to be part of our Christmas card. I would have used this one, too, except our kids look completely not happy. I think the biggest reason is that they were coming out of being sick, especially Matthew. I wish my kids would have looked happier because otherwise these pictures would have been awesome.

Here are a couple of Lucy being caught in the middle of mischief. She loves getting into things. I'm surprised she is in the cabinet. Usually she likes to pull all my unmentionables out from under the bathroom sink.

She must be saying, "Oh, man. This is going to embarrass me when I am older." You might think she is saying, "I am going to be in big trouble!" but she doesn't seem to be fazed by stern voices or any sort of consequences I seem suitable to give her.

We were very lucky to have a visit from Jamie and the boys in the middle of December. It was a short trip, (eight and a half months wasn't even long enough) but we had a good time catching up. Don't you just think these two look amazing? Like models wearing matching vests. :)

And I decided to post this picture even though I look kind of scary. A picture of the three of us together. Thanks again, Jamie, for introducing me to Caitlin.

I just love the look on Lucy's face while she is sitting under the sink! That is too cute! I am not excited for when Isaiah starts pulling these sorts of tricks out of his sleeves. I still think I have a little while though, because he doesn't seem to be in a hurry to figure out how to crawl. :)

You don't look scary at all Jen. You are a natural beauty with beautiful features! Now if that were me without makeup well you have seen that and it ain't pretty. :) haha!

The family picture did turn out pretty nicely (all things considering)- I wish I would have been more aware and tried more to help the poor kiddos smile. They weren't feeling well at all and you are right you can see it in the picture. I am so sorry. :( Perhaps I could try again sometime again? :)

Anyway, thank you so much for your comments and I am so glad you guys are back and had a good time! We were having withdrawals. :) Talk to you soon!

Lucy and Mariah must be soul mates. I've let Mariah have her fun with my tampons for awhile, but last week she figured out how to rip the wrapper off, so they are now in a place she can't reach. The joys of toddlerhood!
